At Wood's Heating Service, we pride ourselves in the quality of service we offer. Unlike most full-service oil companies that have one technician for every 1000 customers, we maintain one technician for every 325 customers, just to serve you better. And we don't use those notoriously unreliable subcontractors - we use our own highly trained professional service staff.
When it comes to service, you will not find better trained, more qualified, more courteous, or more professional service staff than available at Wood's Heating Service. If you do, please let us know!

"Since my husband and I are both active, the last thing I want to worry about is my heat. I appreciate not having to check my tank constantly or worry about who is coming into my house. And anytime I've had a problem, it's been taken care of quickly, without costing me an arm and a leg. If that's what you mean by full service, it's worth every penny."

Our most popular service is our Burner and Air Conditioning Service contracts. For the busy lives we all tend to lead these days, it offers complete peace of mind and allows you to assure your total comfort worry-free. Some of our most frequently asked questions are provided below:
Q. Why should I get a service plan?
A. A service plan saves you money and increases your peace of mind. When you pay as you go for repairs and service, you never know when a big, expensive bill might come. A Wood's Heating service plan helps reduce those big bills and lets us keep you in total comfort.
Q. What about an annual tune-up?
A. It's included in our service plans. Every system should be tuned up once a year. A tune-up can reduce your oil bills by as much as 10%, and it prevents problems from developing. It is money well spent.
Q. Which of your service plans is right for me?
A. It depends on the level of protection you're comfortable with. Our Value Plan covers the most common heating system repairs. Our Value Plus Plan covers more than 20 additional parts. It also covers broilers with extra zones. The Total Comfort Plan, which is our most comprehensive service plan, covers most parts in your heating system that could need repair or replacing. All three plans include Loyalty Credits.
Q. What are Loyalty Credits?
A. When you invest in us, we invest in you - with Loyalty Credits. For each consecutive year that you buy a service plan, you earn $50 in Loyalty Credits. You can use the credits toward the purchase of a new furnace, boiler, burner, or other equipment. You can accumulate up to $500 in Loyalty Credits.
Q. Will I be charged extra for after-hour calls?
A. When you are a service plan customer, you don't pay any overtime charges for emergency service calls after regular business hours. Having no heat or no hot water, or having a major fuel leak, are considered emergencies.
Q. Do you offer a service plan that covers more than my heating system?
A. Yes, we have service plans for oil-fired water heaters and central air conditioning (a/c) units.
Q. Will I be charged for labor on parts not covered by the service plan?
A. Yes, but if you select comprehensive protection with our Total Comfort Plan, most heating system parts that could need repair or replacing are covered.
Q. How can I pay for my service plan?
A. We accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard, or the cost of your service plan can be added to your budget plan?
Q. What should I do if I have more than one burner or heating unit or some other special circumstances?
A. Call us and we'll design coverage that works for you.
Q. How do I get started?
A. Call us with any questions, but to start your service plan protection, please send in your reply card.
We've created the diagram below to help you better understand the components of your heating system. Our service plans provide coverage for most of these parts.
